Uninstalling IBM Domino Sync Manager

If you will not be working offline, you can uninstall the IBM® Domino® Sync Manager.


  1. Log out of IBM iNotes® and close your browser. Make sure you complete this step. If you do not, you will have to remove temporary files that remain in your browser's cache manually.
  2. Click Start > All Programs > Lotus Domino Sync Manager > Uninstall Lotus Domino Sync Manager.

What to do next

If you did not log out and close your browser before you uninstalled the IBM Domino Sync Manager, then IBM iNotes files remain in your browser's cache. Depending on which browser you use, the way you remove these files varies. Use these general instructions to remove the files that remain:
  1. Delete the temporary files from your browser history. This removes the temporary IBM iNotes files from your browser's cache.
  2. Remove the IBM Lotus iNotes 8.5 Control and the LotusDRSControl Class from your browser's object cache.
